What Do We Do?

We are a queer farm and our dream is to bring organic farming to as many people as possible! We care deeply about equitable, fair healthcare, plant centered nutrition, and our #1 goal is to make sustainability and nutrient dense foods accessible to the people that need it the most.

We recognize that the most at-risk and in-need populations are the ones that typically have the least amount of access to healthy, nutritious options and healthcare for themselves, their families, and their communities. We hope to be allies in making a positive contribution to underserved populations.

We have a 3 season, weekly CSA and also sell chickens and ducks that are past the chick/duckling stage and ready to live in your backyard! We have a limited amount of egg shares. We donate weekly to various organizations. We accept SNAP food benefits and work with Pacific Northwest CSA's double-up food bucks program.

We host in-person and virtual farm tours for schools, LGBTQIA2S+ community members, nutrition programs, chef's and more!

We have veggies, chickens, ducks, geese and the eggs from those animals

We love growing rare seeds. This means most of what we have won't be at your grocery store. We find it vital to the future of our planet that we regenerate our seed banks and sustain the diversity within them in order for our children to eat nutritious meals.

Who Are We?

Alex: Comes from an intensive and dynamic farming and natural conservation background. He has grown his own food for as long as he can remember.

He's deeply committed to decreasing the negative impact that he has on this planet. He's even more committed to regenerating the soil he walks on and eating delicious greens he's growing, all while singing his own theme song that he creates while gardening.

Rachel:  Coming from a very different background, she is passionate about organic food, health, community coming together over these things and listening to the stories that bring us all together! She handles the marketing, events, sales, customer communication etc.

We both do a ton of hard, manual labor. We enjoy getting our hands dirty and we LOVE to eat fresh produce!

We are fanatics in all things pertaining to chickens, ducks, and most water foul. We're happy to offer advice or just chat about weird chickens you've seen around.

When you purchase from LoveBug Farms you are committing to a healthier way of life for yourself and to a more equitable and sustainable planet.

Buy fresh; eat fresh; be a voice for our living earth.
